Health Data

To help you analyze how different music and audio affect your body, our app may request access to your health data, specifically:

  • Heart Rate
  • Sleep Analysis
  • Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
  • Step Count

This data is retrieved from your device's health services (Google Health Connect or Apple HealthKit) only with your explicit permission. We process this data specifically to help you visualize how certain audio tracks affect your physiological state, allowing you to select the audio tracks that work best for you.

Microphone and Audio Reflections

Our app requests access to your device’s microphone (RECORD_AUDIO permission) to enable the Voice Reflection feature.

  • Explicit Recording: We only access the microphone and record audio when you explicitly tap the "Start Recording" button. The app does NOT record in the background.
  • Secure Cloud Storage: Audio recordings (Reflections) are uploaded and stored securely in our cloud infrastructure (Supabase).
  • Private Access: Recordings are stored exclusively for your user account and are not shared with other users or third parties for marketing purposes.

2. Data Analytics and Third-Party Processors

We use third-party services to monitor and analyze the use of our service and to improve its functionality.

Third-Party Data Processors

We share certain information with the following service providers who act as data processors on our behalf:

  • Supabase: Used for secure database storage, user authentication, and cloud storage of your audio reflections.
  • Google Analytics/Firebase: Used to track app traffic and monitor performance (Crashlytics).
  • AI Service Providers: Secure transcription services (Whisper/Groq) are used only when you explicitly choose to transcribe your voice reflections.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data solely for the following purposes:

  • To personalize your experience with wellness insights.
  • To securely store and retrieve your personal voice reflections and text notes.
  • To monitor app performance and fix technical bugs.

4. Data Storage and Security

All data stored in our cloud services is encrypted both in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest (AES-256). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and collected data at any time. You can do this within the app settings or by contacting us directly.

6. Content Ownership

All audio content provided within the Service—including music tracks, nature soundscapes, and guided meditations—is the original creative work of Inner Zen Vibes LLC. We do not feature or show third-party content. Inner Zen Vibes LLC maintains full and exclusive rights to all sounds found within the app.
